Active Living - South Tees

Stay healthy, stay active

Being active is one of the best ways to look after your body and your mind. Moving regularly can help reduce stress. It can also improve your mood, give you more energy, and keep your body healthy. This could be walking, cycling, gardening, or playing with your children.

Safe and welcoming green spaces make it easier for us to be active. Parks, footpaths, and natural areas give us places to walk and relax. They help us connect with nature and spend time with others. These spaces can help us feel better, sleep better, and live healthier lives.

Creating healthy environments means building places where it is easy to move more. It also means clean air and safe outdoor spaces that we can enjoy. In South Tees, we are lucky to have local gyms, green spaces, and free park runs. You might like being active indoors. You might prefer the fresh air or joining in with others.

Whatever you enjoy, there is something for everyone to keep moving and feel good.
